In short

Inferno Construction remodels master baths, guest baths, and powder rooms across St. George and Southern Utah. We build custom tile showers, install freestanding and drop-in tubs, set vanities and stone tops, and handle the plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, and tile with one licensed crew.

Why Inferno

The room where shortcuts show up years later

A bathroom is the smallest room in the house and the least forgiving. Every surface meets water, every trade works within a few feet of the last one, and the part that decides whether it lasts is the part you will never see again once the tile goes on. Waterproofing, slope to the drain, how the pan is built, how the niche is sealed. Done right, it is invisible for decades. Done fast, it shows up as a soft spot in the ceiling below.

Southern Utah adds hard water to that. Mineral-heavy water etches cheap finishes, hazes glass, and leaves scale in grout lines that never fully cleans off. We steer you toward tile, grout, glass coatings, and fixtures that stay looking new here, not just in a showroom, and we seal the surfaces that need it.

We also plan around the fact that this is often the only full bath in the house. You get a realistic sequence up front, we keep the dust contained behind a barrier, and we tell you exactly which days the water is off before we shut it off.

I hired Inferno without getting a second estimate and I am so glad I did. James is a delight to deal with and his tile crew did a masterful job. I could not be happier with the workmanship, and they were extremely careful to clean up after. I would hire them again without a doubt.

Questions

Bathroom remodeling FAQs

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

A straightforward guest bath is often a couple of weeks. A full master with a custom tile shower, new glass, and moved plumbing runs longer, partly because waterproofing and mortar need real cure time and glass is measured after the tile is set. We give you a realistic timeline in the written scope.

Can you convert my tub into a walk-in shower?

Usually yes, and it is one of the most requested changes we do. The drain typically has to move and the framing may need adjusting, both of which we handle. If it is the only tub in the house we will talk through resale before you commit.

How do you deal with hard water damage?

We choose materials that resist it and finish them so they stay that way, including sealed grout, coated shower glass, and fixture finishes that do not etch. It does not make hard water disappear, but it means the bathroom still looks new after a few Southern Utah years instead of hazed over.

Will I be without a bathroom the whole time?

That bathroom, yes, for most of the project. We sequence the work to keep the window as short as we can and we tell you up front which days the water is off for the whole house, which is usually only a few hours at a time.

Do I need a permit to remodel a bathroom in St. George?

If we move plumbing or electrical, or change the structure, usually yes. Swapping finishes in place often does not. We confirm during the walkthrough, then pull the permits and handle inspections as part of the job.
